Hello! I’m Sílvia, the founder and artisan behind Veva.

My project began in 2020 on the island of Menorca, born out of a need to return to my roots in the world of design and to rediscover the slow processes of handmade craftsmanship.

The origin: a tribute to simplicity

Veva is not just a name; it is a tribute to my grandmother Genoveva, whom everyone affectionately called Veva. From her I inherited humility, generosity and, above all, a simplicity that I now strive to capture in each of my pieces. After years of living the frenetic pace of Barcelona, I found in Menorca the calm and inspiration I needed to change direction and rediscover my creative side.

Porcelain and textile jewellery: my creative process

Although I trained in design, my journey into jewellery began as an assistant in a pottery workshop. Over time, and after training under leading professionals, I managed to develop my own style in which porcelain and fabric come together. Even now, I am constantly evolving and learning, and I strive to create new pieces by incorporating new techniques..

Certified crafts in Menorca

Since 2023, I have held the Menorca Artisan Certificate, a recognition of the quality and authenticity of my handcrafted work. In addition to my permanent collections, I create bespoke jewellery and pieces to order, crafting unique items that tell your own story.

My collections of porcelain earrings and necklaces are distinguished by:

PURE MATERIALS: I work with unglazed porcelain to preserve its natural texture and elegance.

TEXTILE HERITAGE: I use fabrics, scraps and fragments of family textiles or salvaged materials that lend each piece a unique and emotional character.

VERSATILE GEOMETRY: I draw inspiration from simple shapes to create elegant, easy-to-wear jewellery.

SUSTAINABILITY: I design macramé necklaces and bracelets made from organic cotton cord, always ensuring a harmonious colour scheme so that all the pieces complement one another.
